​• Men are the main stakeholders of the practice of FGM 

• Men are the main decision maker in FGM practicing communities

• Men can be badly affected through their family members and are frequently perpetrators

• Combating FGM in Scotland targeted at women and men have never been targeted 

• Social change is a process that affects the entire community.
