VOLUNTEER
We are a volunteer led organisation, and are always looking for new people to get involved in a way that suits them and their skills. We have different types of voluntary roles across our projects, and particularly encourage applicants from an asylum / refugee background. Fill out the Volunteer Enquiry Form below to get involved. Please note that we cover travel expenses for all our volunteers.
ASH AND WASH PROJECT VOLUNTEERING

The ASH and WASH Project volunteers meet weekly to assist with the running of the project. This includes helping asylum seekers report housing issues (interpreting if necessary), attending outreach sessions, attending and assisting with events run by the projects, and undergoing training.
If you are interested in supporting this work please fill in the enquiry form below!

CHALLENGING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN VOLUNTEERING

The Challenging Violence Against Women Project (VAW) is run by men for men to tackle issues around Gender Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation. The main volunteering role offered with VAW is becoming a 'Community Champion'. This role includes outreach work, attending events, and helping with workshops.
If you are a man from a community affected by FGM and GVB, and would like to do something to end it, then fill out our volunteer enquiry form below!

WELLBEING PROJECT VOLUNTEERING

The Wellbeing Project provides a range of activities for asylum seekers, to help with wellbeing and overcoming isolation. This includes a one to one Buddy service, ESOL classes, support with digital access and regular activities such as cycling trips, hill walks, and city tours, improving physical and mental health. Volunteers can get involved in all these activities - if you are interested, please fill in the form on the Wellbeing page.
